Dr. Keith Morris has been practicing Gastroenterology for over 25 years. He is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated from the historic Central High School. At Central High, he was a member of the Football team and Band. He received his Bachelors of Science Degree with an emphasis on Pre-med at Philander Smith College. After this he was accepted into The University of Arkansas School of Medicine where he received his medical degree. Dr. Morris completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Metro General Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He also trained at the Alvin C. York VA in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Dr. Morris realized early in his residency that he had a passion for Gastroenterology. Thus, he applied and was accepted into The University of Texas Medical Branch located in Galveston, Texas. During his Fellowship Dr. Morris was trained in therapeutic endoscopy and motility by some of the best Physicians in the world. After completing his Gastroenterology training Dr. Morris decided to return home and to give back to his community by providing the best care for his patients. In 2004 Dr. Morris opened Central Arkansas Gastroenterology Clinic. At Central Arkansas Gastroenterology Clinic Dr. Morris and his staff perform clinical evaluations. They carry out endoscopic procedures, including colon cancer screening, in his modern Endoscopy Center.
